Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Inboxly Discord bot and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Use of the Service must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and policies.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a Discord bot that:

• Connects to user-provided email inboxes
• Reads incoming emails and attachments
• Sends email content into Discord channels within a server
• Allows sending emails on behalf of a connected inbox
• Displays email content to permitted members of a Discord server

Important: Emails received through a connected inbox may be displayed to other members of the connected Discord server. By connecting an inbox, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

4. Account & Authorization

You authorize the Service to access your connected email inbox using secure authorization tokens. These tokens are used only to:

• Retrieve new emails
• Send emails on your behalf
• Retrieve attachments associated with emails

We do not use inbox access for advertising, profiling, or resale of data.

You are responsible for:

• Properly configuring which Discord servers and channels receive email content
• Ensuring you have permission to display those emails to server members
• Any actions taken through your connected inbox

5. Data Visibility & User Responsibility

By using the Service:

• You understand that email messages and attachments may be posted into Discord channels
• Other server members may see this content
• We are not responsible for how server members use, share, or store that information

You agree not to connect inboxes containing regulated or highly sensitive data unless you are legally permitted to share that content within your Discord server.

6. Pricing & Billing

• Price: $5 per month per connected email inbox
• Free Trial: 28 days from first inbox connection
• Billing is processed by Stripe
• Stripe may collect additional billing and identity information as required to process payments and prevent fraud

Failure to pay may result in suspension or removal of connected inboxes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Violate Discord policies
• Send spam or abusive email
• Harvest or expose personal data unlawfully
• Distribute malware or malicious attachments
• Access inboxes you do not own or have permission to connect

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical safeguards, including:

• Encryption of access tokens and refresh tokens
• Encryption of stored email body content
• Restricted database access controls

However, no system is perfectly secure. You accept inherent risks of internet-connected systems.

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting inboxes and removing the bot.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• Terms are violated
• Payment fails
• Abuse or misuse is detected

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Data exposure due to server configuration
• Discord server member behavior
• Email misdelivery due to provider errors
• Indirect or consequential damages

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
